Thank you for your interest in presenting at the ICS Village's Hack the Capitol (HtC) 6.0: a two-day hybrid conference scheduled for May 10 and 11 2023, and hosted by The MITRE Corporation.
Hack the Capitol is a cybersecurity conference held annually in the Washington DC area, and is focused on the security of industrial control systems. HtC is an opportunity to listen to leading voices in ICS security and from the broader world of cybersecurity. HtC is specifically designed to offer hands-on education opportunities for policymakers, think tanks and the media, and to connect technical experts with policy staffers -- and vice versa.
Hack the Capitol will be a two-day, hybrid event. This means you have the option of presenting in person at MITRE in McLean, VA, or virtually. All talks are "on the record," and will be live-streamed and made available on the ICS Village Youtube channel.
Reminder: Talks should be primarily geared toward layperson understanding (we're educating)
Logistics: All talks will be 30 minutes. There is a strong preference for in-person, followed by live-streaming of virtual talks. Pre-recording a virtual talk is discouraged, but may be considered depending on timezones and schedules. All visitors to MITRE are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and must present valid proof (a vaccination card or photo of a valid card) upon request at check-in.
Deadline: Please submit the below requested information by April 1, 2023
Hosted By: ICS Village, The MITRE Corporation, and Cutaway Security
