Westcoast Fishing Tackle PRO STAFF Program
Our PRO STAFF Program is designed to amplify awareness of our premium tackle through rigorous testing, real-world usage, and authentic promotion. As part of the team, PRO STAFF members are key ambassadors of our brand, sharing their firsthand experiences with our products through social media, public events, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation: Video Content: Create a minimum of 4 branded videos per month featuring:
- Product reviews
- Testimonials
- Pro Fishing tips and techniques
- Promotional content for tackle (shared via REELS or video platforms).
- Photo and Text Posts: Produce and share 8 branded pictures per month with engaging text.Content formats: POSTS, STORIES, or LIVE broadcasts.
- Frequency: 2 posts per week across any social media platform.
2. Brand Representation: Wear branded clothing during promotional activities, live events, and online content to maintain consistency and reinforce the company’s image.
3. Public Engagement: Dedicate at least 8 hours annually to promotional activities, including:Trade shows, boat shows, and fishing derbies
Product knowledge seminars and live events (e.g., TV/Radio appearances or social media live streams).
4. Year-End Retreat: Attend the annual staff retreat to connect with fellow ambassadors, gain insight into upcoming product lines, and participate in seminars and workshops.
Affiliate Marketing Opportunities
To provide additional value and earning potential to our PRO STAFF, we offer affiliate marketing partnerships. This allows team members to earn commissions by promoting Westcoast Fishing Tackle products.
Key Highlights of the Affiliate Program:
- Personalized Affiliate Links: Receive unique tracking links to share across your social media, blogs, YouTube videos, and websites.
- Commission Structure: Earn a percentage of all sales made through your affiliate link. Details of commission rates will be discussed upon program onboarding.
- Performance Incentives: Additional rewards or bonuses for top-performing affiliates who achieve set sales milestones.
- Product Discounts for Followers: Provide your audience with exclusive discount codes, driving engagement and boosting sales.

Application Process We approach applications as a collaborative opportunity to align expectations and discuss the details of our partnerships. Requirements:
To qualify as a Westcoast Fishing Tackle PRO STAFF member, candidates must:
- Demonstrate extensive fishing knowledge and experience within their local waters.
- Have an active presence on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and fishing forums.
- Be a member of relevant fishing forums and groups (e.g., Vancouver Salmon Fishing, BC Sport Fishing Forum).
- Maintain a minimum 1,000 followers across social platforms
- Possess at least 10 years of fishing experience.
- SVOP or guiding business experience is an asset.
- Be comfortable speaking on camera, at live events, and engaging with the public.
- Complete a max 90 sec video on Social Media saying why they would like to be a ProStaff with WCFT & invite to collabrate with @westcoastfishingtackle before the deadline of January 31st, 2026
PRO STAFF are selected based on geographical representation to ensure local expertise and tackle testing coverage. Only one candidate per region will be selected. The 12 designated regions include:

1. Product Samples: Complimentary products provided for testing and review purposes, including: Saltwater trolling lures, Saltwater jigging lures, Terminal tackle, Fishing rods
