Spring 2024 Updates
1. Social Media activity. [starting ASAP]
If you have experience in graphic design communications, video editing, writing, and/or customer service, this is a great opportunity to help keep members informed on USAR highlights and critical behind-the-scenes work. You'll be responsible for enhancing USAR's social media presence. This commitment will be 2-4 hours a month, and you would be expected to serve in the position for a minimum of a 6 months.
2. USAR Rankings and additional data initiatives. [starting July 2024]
Are you a capable data engineer? USAR is working to track player rankings for all members and use best practices in data management as roundnet continues to grow. This commitment will be 2-4 hours a month, and you would be expected to serve in the position for a minimum of a 6 months in 2024.
3. Seeking video editors, stat takers, graphic designers. [June and September 2024]
Video editing and stats reporting roles needed to support media operations for the US National Championship plus Team USA at the World Championship.
3. We are seeking 2-3 USAR members to support Sanctioned Event Functions. [starting ASAP]
No TD experience necessary - we'll teach you everything you need to know about the back-end processes USAR runs to support events all across the country! After 1-2 hours of training to learn the ropes, you'll spend 1-1.5 hours per month supporting TD Certifications and Sanctioned Event Applications to help grow roundnet across the U.S. You will be expected to serve in this position through the end of 2024 at a minimum.
General Project Commitment [dates TBD]
Is there a project you'd like support to pursue to help grow roundnet in the U.S? Let us know. Time commitment is TBD by project. Take-home work items and tasks may require about only a few hours of work on a month-to-month basis, with shorter projects running only a 1-2 months to focus on delivering quick outcomes.
