Pre-register for Pittsfield Charter Township's first ever Safety Fair/Walking Audit on Sunday, October 19th from 2:00-5:00pm. Pre-registration is not required, but those that register by September 29th will receive a FREE t-shirt.
  • Connect with community safety partners and participate in a walking safety audit of Carpenter Rd in Pittsfield Township.
  • Check-in, receive your free t-shirt, and engage with community groups at Montibeller Park at 4305 Ellsworth Rd before and after participating in a walking audit of Carpenter Rd. Shuttle service back to Montibeller will be available at the end of the walk.
  • In the walking audit, small groups of community members (led by Township staff/community partners), will take a walk down Carpenter Rd. Participants will note what makes them comfortable, uncomfortable, and share what they feel could make the Carpenter Corridor a safer experience for pedestrians.
  • In addition to sharing verbal feedback during the walk, paper feedback forms and a post-audit survey will be made available to participants.
  • Small groups will leave for the walking audit every 30 minutes: 2:15pm, 2:45pm, 3:15pm, and 3:45pm with shuttle service back to Montibeller Park at the end of the route. Please select your preferred time below.
  • Community members are also encouraged to complete a self-paced walk at any time, but shuttle service will end at 5pm on October 19th.
*The walking audit route is approximately 1.2 miles (estimated completion time of 45 minutes)
