USM & SMCC are once again partnering up to host our Culture Fest on April 18th from 4-7 pm!

This lively event at the USM Sullivan Gym will uplift BIPOC representation and our diverse community here in Southern Maine with its fashion show, talent show, live music, cultural food & beverage, & more! Cultural clothing/regalia is encouraged, and we welcome you to get involved as a volunteer or as a partcipant in one of our activities.

Participate or Perform

Consider sharing your culture by participating in one of our activities! Group performances are welcome. We will be hosting a fashion show and a talent show. We also welcome all proposals for alternative performances.

Student groups & local organizations are welcome to table and connect with community members about opportunities and services you provide.

Volunteer

Are you interested in being involved, but not as a performer? We welcome you to volunteer! Volunteer tasks will include setting up the event, managing the food station, greetings guests at the door, cleaning up after the event, etc. Volunteers will work in shifts, that way everyone can still enjoy the event!
