Growing Green! Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in Growing Green, Mobilize Frederick's initiative to support and expand Maryland Green Schools in Frederick County. The Maryland Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education (MAEOE) certifies schools across Maryland who achieve objectives in environmental literacy, hands-on stewardship projects and conservation, and community building. 

Environmental education and experience are keys to developing and implementing solutions for sustainable schools, communities, and our planet. Students today need tools to prepare them for their future in an ever-changing and warming world. 

Growing Green! is a county-wide effort, and our Education Group collaborates with Frederick County Public Schools, private schools, local government, parks, Green Teams, non-profits, businesses, and residents to expand environmental literacy county-wide.

We are recruiting:
And need specific help with: 
  • supporting student action projects
  • providing supplemental instruction at school (indoors and outdoors) 
  • marketing and outreach
  • fund-raising and grant-writing
  • developing community partnerships.
