Thank you for your interest in applying for the teen program at Radha Madhav Dham’s Summer Hindu Family Camp! Our camps strive to provide an inspiring experience in spiritual learning and aim to develop your devotional closeness to God through the path of Bhakti (Devotion). The camps promote a commitment to selfless service, a spirit of cooperation and fun and devotional enrichment for all participants.

Part 4: Camp Guidelines and Policies
To gain most out of your time at the Camp, you are required to follow a structured and disciplined schedule. If you are accepted, you:

Agree to follow the schedule set for teens and to be on time for all programmed activities with perfect attendance unless you have been excused by Camp staff due to an emergency;

Understand that performing service (seva) is an integral and required part of attending Camp. You agree to participate in your assigned seva and to execute it responsibly and until completion. Seva could include dish room, gardening, cleaning, organizing activities, etc;

Agree to not use electronics at any time during the Camp (including break times and at night). Electronics include cell phones, smart phones, laptops, tablets, gaming units, etc. If you carry any of these items for your travel, you can deposit them with Camp staff when you arrive at Radha Madhav Dham and get it back when you leave. In case of an emergency,
you can ask for permission from Camp staff to allow you to use your electronic devices;

Agree to abide by temple’s modest dress code (no shorts, sleeveless shirts or tanks, tight or revealing attire including yoga or spandex pants); Agree to not use profanity or participate in any illicit activities such as smoking or using recreational drugs or sexual activities; Agree to abide by the 11 pm curfew (which means in bed with lights out by no later than 11 pm);

Agree that if there is a conflict between yourself and another camp member, counselor or staff member, you will bring your concern to Camp staff immediately; Agree to maintain a positive open-minded attitude and spirit of cooperation during all activities;

Understand that your accommodation will be gender based (teenage boys with boys and girls with girls), dorm style and supervised by same gender mentors; Understand that the focus of your time at Radha Madhav Dham is to deepen your devotion and gain spiritual knowledge;

Understand that violation of any of the above guidelines may result in suspension from Camp and you may be asked to leave the Camp before it is complete.
