Fearless Teaching Framework Pilot Program: Interest Form
As we presented at the Innovations in Teaching and Learning conference, the Teaching and Learning Transformation Center is designing a short, research-based formative evaluation tool that UMD instructors can use to gather valid, reliable, and actionable feedback on their teaching.

We are seeking instructors to pilot this formative assessment tool.

Recruitment Details:
- We are recruiting instructors across disciplines and course structures (e.g., large lectures and smaller discussion-based classes).
- Each instructor will need to be teaching an undergraduate course with no fewer than 30 students in Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 to participate.
- All participants must be over the age of 18.

Pilot Study Process:
For our pilot we will collect online survey data from your students on four constructs: climate, content, practice, and assessment. We will use these student data to perform psychometric analyses of our assessment tool, and revise the scales as necessary to improve validity, reliability, and scalability. We will briefly interview you regarding the results of your first round of assessment, and discuss ways the measure could be improved.

Please complete this form if you are interested in partnering with the on the pilot of the new Fearless Teaching Framework.
