Executive summaryThe world has changed dramatically these past few years. The health and economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the public health response; climate change and increasing severe weather events; political instability and conflict forces us to stop and reassess our strategies for mosquitoes and vector borne disease control. As we enter this next phase of the COVID-19 era, it is important to share and reflect how countries reimagine vector control surveillance and control by innovations and new areas of understanding and alliances. In collaboration with Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Thailand and the Thailand Pest Management Association (TPMA) as co-organizations, Prof. Theeraphap Chareonviriyaphap from Kasetsart University (KU), is planning to host the Asia Pacific Conference on Mosquito and Vector Control (AMV) held in Chiang Mai between 27 and 30 November 2023.
