Gauging Interest in a Community Garden
Back in the late winter/spring of 2018, we reached out to get a sense of the interest in the community (from community members, staff, faculty, and students) of having a community garden. The Williams campus currently has two-ish student-centered gardens - Parsons Garden and the gardens around the '66 Environmental Center. Since we occasionally get questions from folks asking us about other community gardening options, we thought we might begin exploring the options and be more intentional about collecting responses. Recently we submitted a funding request for a community garden and it was approved. The location that has been identified is a portion of the field behind Poker Flats. Now that things are taking shape, we wanted to get in touch to see how many people are still interested. Please take a minute to let us know. Thanks. -Mike & Zilkha team at Williams College
