Quad Summer Intensive Application 2019
The Quad is a joint initiative between CC, PPCC, UCCS and the US Air Force Academy. Our signature Summer Intensive is a four-week immersion into what it takes to turn an idea into valuable action; into how to accomplish real impact in your community. We're looking for motivated students or recent grads to go to work solving one of the most pressing issues facing our community.

Each summer, we invite at least five major community organizations to present the problems they're currently working on to the cohort. You'll work with a small team to think of, design and test a viable solution to the problem that you're most interested in. Along the way, you'll connect with influential experts, decision-makers and community leaders and get a behind-the-scenes look into how to make real, community-level change in Colorado Springs.

A four-week, paid, action-oriented, full-time immersion that will allow you to dive deeply into a business or community problem and create tangible results. Curious about some of the problems you would be solving? Here's a taste.

1. Build a social enterprise from scratch to drive revenue to an area non-profit, with training from local experts. This isn't just an exercise, this business will be implemented.

2. Validate and flesh out a model for an Affordable Housing unit for seniors in order for a developer to build it.

That's all we'll divulge for now, but rest assured, there are other equally as compelling projects waiting for you.

Turn your ideas into action, expand your networks, develop your professional experience, solve pressing community problems, and be a part of changing the city you live in. Most importantly, set yourself up for rapid professional accomplishment and leadership responsibilities after graduation.
