The APALA convention provides a place for workers and allies to engage in lively and uplifting conversations. We will reflect on what we’ve done to protect our communities and strategize how we will continue to strengthen unions and win good jobs, protect our communities with comprehensive immigration reform, and fight for a future free of hate and oppression.
We are calling for interactive, skills-based workshop proposals under our four main programming areas:
(1) Economic and Worker Justice(2) Racial and Immigrant Justice(3) Civic and Political Engagement(4) Organizing and Leadership Development
We encourage folks to uplift workers and invite them as speakers whenever possible.
Please submit your workshop proposals by Friday, April 26th. For questions, reach out to our Program Manager, Kristina Romines: firstname.lastname@example.org
