Historic Lakewood Bronze Plaque

Show pride in your Lakewood Century Home and let others know that your house was built 100 or more years ago. Display a personalized cast bronze "Historic Lakewood" plaque on the front of your house.
A cast, solid bronze plaque is available for purchase by owners of Lakewood Century Homes. The 5” X 7” oval plaque is hand cast and prominently features the year that the house was built in recessed black numbers on a polished brass oval surrounded by the wording "HISTORIC LAKEWOOD" and "Lakewood Historical Society" in raised brass letters against a black background.
As an optional addition to the plaque, one of the following items can be printed under the year numbers. The information must be verifiable to be included on the plaque. Contact the Lakewood Historical Society at 216-221-7343 for more information.
1. The name of the architect who designed the house.
2. The name of the builder of the house.
3. The name of the first owner of the house.
The Cuyahoga County Auditor’s Real Estate Property list can be used to verify the age of Lakewood houses. The list is available at
The price of the plaque is $165.00. This includes a $20.00 tax deductible contribution to the Historical Society. Approximate delivery time is six weeks.
