Santa Fe County is sponsoring a special educational event at the County Fairgrounds to celebrate Earth Day! Learn from rainwater harvesting experts, help put the finishing touches on a new rain garden, get answers to your gardening questions from Master Gardeners, and learn about local sustainability initiatives!

Representatives from local community organizations will be sharing resources and activities at tables throughout the event (9:00-12:00).

What to bring: Come dressed to spend the morning outdoors learning and gardening! You are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle or mug if you have them. For those participating in any gardening activities, you are encouraged to bring gardening gloves and wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.
Participants are expected to adhere to COVID-19 guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and New Mexico Department of Health regarding social distancing and use of masks. Please stay home if you are not feeling well or have recently been exposed to COVID-19.
