We are looking for referees who are punctual, reliable, learn and enforce the rules, but have an even better grasp of how to deal with people/players to ensure that games run smoothly (e.g. a good sense of humor).

BEFORE YOU APPLY REQUIREMENTS
- W9 Required for payroll
- Authorized to work in the United States  
- 18 years of age or older

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Referee Games
· Manage logistics including: timely start and completion of games and team/referee transitions
· When needed, help in setup and take down of the field (e.g. pop-up goals)
· At times, carry balls, cones, bibs
· Dispute resolution/mediation
· Time management
· Work with other referees and team owners to improve the league
· Learn NYC Footy Rules (see website)
- Submit scores immediately following your shift
- Clock in and clock out of your shift on time

PREFERRED:
• Experience in refereeing soccer
• Experience playing soccer
