Wellness, Your Way Registration
We reached out for your feedback and got some great ideas for another Black History Month event! We hope that in between classes you will join us for a wellness session to escape from this hectic time of year and take care of ourselves.
“Wellness, Your Way” will be held via Zoom and will offer two separate wellness events for you to choose from. Please see the description for each activity below, and register by February 19, 5:00pm to let us know which activity you prefer.

Creating a Vision Board
In one room, we will have the opportunity to create digital vision boards. If you choose to do this activity, please prepare the following before the event: 1) Choose an intention for your board. In which areas of your life would you like to focus on manifesting new goals (e.g., school, fitness, family, finances, social, travel, etc)? If you have trouble figuring this out beforehand, let’s chat it through during the event! 2) Make a free account on: Canva.com (Website only) and Pinterest (Website or App).

Yoga and Meditation
In another room, we will have a meditation and yoga session where we will move through a short mediation to start, then transition into a yoga practice, with a pre-recorded video. If you choose to do this activity, please ensure you have the following for the session: Yoga mat or towel; Yoga blocks or substitute (Yoga blocks are typically 9 inches in length, 5 inches in width, 3 inches in height. The measurements don’t have to be precise. You can grab a few books or a shoebox (filled with something to weigh it down) and wrap them up in a towel as a replacement.]; Comfortable clothing; and Water.
