Summer shifts will begin on June 15th and end on August 10th. You are responsible for filling your shift every week during this time (though please let us know if you need to start early or finish late). You must be present each shift or find a substitute to take your place - anyone can sub for you, even if they have never worked at the shelter. The shelter's vitality and efficiency rely on your unwavering dedication!

If you are a new volunteer, we ask that you attend one of our training sessions so you can get to know our safety policies and rules. These training sessions will take place on Sunday June 12th and Tuesday June 14th.
The shelter is located at 66 Winthrop St., in the basement of the University Lutheran Church between the MAC and Pinocchio's Pizza.
