All trainings will be held at ISD Lab 3 located at 1526 Tucker Ave., Pascagoula MS. Parking is limited; we suggest parking across the street at PHS on Market St.

CEUs and Session Stipends
Each session is 2.5 hours. If you are interested in earning CEUs, you must attend a minimum of two (2) sessions for 0.5 CEUs. You will also need to register with GCEIC by July 17, 2019, to qualify for CEUs.

Google Classroom with Stoney Rogers
This session will cover the initial setup of Google Classroom, PLUS ways to utilize it in your class. We will cover assignments, projects, polls, quizzes, and content-specific options.
Geo Tools for Your Curriculum with Jeannie Steer
Students can create their own maps displaying all sorts of content. In this session, you will learn of the new and existing features of Google's mapping tools. We will also explore several student project ideas.
Video Creation and Editing with Stoney Rogers
Video creation is a great tool to prepare content for your students, or to allow them to demonstrate understanding of a concept. This session will guide you through the use of some of the programs you have at your disposal for you and your students to create fun, engaging, educational videos.
Sliding Farther with Google Slides with Jeannie Steer
Google Slides is the Swiss army knife of the GSuite Apps. In this session, you will learn how to use Slides in new and unexpected ways in your classroom that will engage your students and make learning more dynamic. Activities will include making gifs, stop motion, interactive activities and choose your own adventures.
Diving into AR & VR: Exploration and Creation with Stoney Rogers
As virtual reality hardware becomes increasingly affordable, more teachers have started experimenting with VR lessons and how they could take students to places and times that were, until now, impossible to visit. In this session, we will concentrate on implementing pre-made VR lessons into your curriculum, as well as explore methods in which you and your students can create VR experiences of your own.
Digital Choice Boards with Jeannie Steer
Get ready to create interactive learning opportunities for your students that provide differentiation and choice. Come learn how digital tools can bring learning menus to life.
Get Kids Creating! with Stoney Rogers
“Tell me and I’ll forget; Show me and I may remember; Involve me and I’ll understand!”Allowing students to “show what they know” is one of the best ways to have them retain information. This session will explore multiple tools to allow your kids to get creative and experience learning in new ways.
Create Your Own Digital Breakouts with Jeannie Steer
Your students can become detectives without physical boxes and locks. In this session, we will discover ideas and resources to create clues and step-by-step instructions on how to set up a Google Form with locks and different pages hosted on a Google Site.
Google G-Suite Boot Camp with Stoney Rogers
If you are wanting to learn the basics of Google G-Suite such as Gmail, calendar, drive, docs, sheets, and forms. This is a great introduction to these apps as well as some tips and tricks. This is recommended for new teachers in the district and teachers wanting to learn more about the G-Suite apps.

Check out the New Google Sites with its new sleek, modern look, drag'n drop editing, responsive design, easy integration of Drive files, YouTube Files, Google Maps, & more make it a great tool for teachers and students of all ages. The new Google Sites is an easy option for portfolios, interactive lessons, research projects, & more. Plus, Sites is approved as an alternative to the Edlio teacher website.
