Meet the Speed Network Panelists: Brianna Boseman, BS
Brianna Boseman, '07, Chicago Bulls
A zealous Chicago native, Brianna instinctively began forming influential skillsets at a very young age. She was the friend and classmate that everyone could look up to—or at least that’s what the teachers always told her parents at report card pick up before getting to the “improvements” section! From her elementary through high school years, no matter the task, Brianna could often be found leading the charge when required or helping to support it in various ways as needed.

On the campus of Fisk University (Nashville, TN), she continued to hone those skills through the likes of leadership, networking and the underlining importance of “pay it forward”. As a result, during her matriculation at Fisk, Brianna contributed to the growth and implementation of various programs, which enhanced student and student athlete platforms, bridged various gaps of communication, and ignited the Nashville community and its involvement. She was quickly recognized as a campus influencer and leader, even by former President of Fisk University, Hazel R. O’Leary, who also served as the seventh United States Secretary of Energy.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Brianna returned to her hometown and eventually received a dream job opportunity in the world of professional sports. She started her career in the Finance & Legal department as a part-time Finance & Legal Assistant under the NBA’s Chicago Bulls organization. From there, she advanced her profession to full-time status on the arena-side in the United Center Premium Seating department, of where she continues her occupation. In her volunteer time, since graduating from Fisk in 2007, Brianna faithfully dedicated over ten years of consistent leadership roles—ranging from committee chairpersons to President—for the Chicago Area Fisk University Alumni Association, Inc. (CAFUAA, Inc.). Keeping with community, she is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated where she offered her talents through team-oriented goals and projects on a local and international level.

Brianna is a devoted wife, friend and family member, a generational mentor, a radical advocate of “paying it forward”, and business woman. In her down time, she is constantly leveraging her business background as an event planner, speaker, and analyst. She highly believes in “having a seat at the table” and making room for more chairs to invite others.

Brianna is a Christian whose daily walk includes God and whose testimony is openly shared. Her passion for others and community is beyond evident. She works to inspire and uplift all those that she encounters and will not stray from the rewarding path anytime soon!
