Dear Students,
As someone who didn't have the highest or greatest GPA in high school, did not know exactly what I wanted to do when I was younger, and who believes we all deserve second a chance, please do not feel discouraged to apply. Most of the essay questions are for me to get an idea of who you are, your thought process, and your story. I am not looking for someone who looks the best on paper, weird huh? I am looking for someone who has personality, heart, determination, and refuses to give up on themselves or their dreams. Why? Because that's what Watsonville is. We have personality, heart, determination and we refuse to give up on ourselves or our potential. What I am trying to say is: be extra, slay the essays, and show me what you are all about. Y'all got this!

Sincerely, Jessica Carrasco aka "the sticker girl" (inserts strawberry emoji)
