BYU Law Library Access Request During the Summer 2024 Construction
The BYU Law Library has limited space and access to library materials during construction this summer in 2024. As such, it will be locked except those in the BYU Law Community. Use this form to request an exception for access to use our library materials. Access for any other reason will not be granted. Access, if granted, will always be brief, limited, and short-term (less than 2 hours) and will require an appointment made with a Reference Services employee to enter the library to use the access you've been granted.

For access to physical materials that are located on the 2nd floor, access will not be immediate.

You must agree to the policies below to be considered for access to the library. Do you agree to the following?: 

1. I must abide by all regular BYU Law Library policies found here: https://lawlibrary.byu.edu/information/public-use-policies/.
2. Requesting access does not guarantee me access. 
A decision regarding my request may take up to a full business day. 
3. I must receive access and make an appointment during times when Reference Services are offered before I will be let into the BYU Law Library. 
4. I must be quiet and respectful of the law students studying while in the library. 
5. If my request is granted, my access is brief, limited, and short-term (less than two hours). 
6. There are only certain places in the library that I may use to access the materials, and I will stay in those areas only. 
7. Once I am finished with the library materials, I will vacate the library.
8. If I am found to not abide by any of these policies, I will have my access revoked.
