Rockin Ruby's Records is releasing a Kitsap County compilation LP, entitled SOUND OUT VOL.I, featuring local bands across punk, rock, metal, indie, grunge, and new rock.

If you’re a band or artist in the following categories, CURRENTLY PLAYING SHOWS IN KITSAP COUNTY, and one or more of your actual band members LIVES IN KITSAP COUNTY, we want to hear you.

This will be a physical + digital release highlighting the current Kitsap scene.

Submission guidelines:

• 2 tracks per artist (unless we ask for more)
• Send your best quality audio WAV files (not MP3's)
• Unreleased or lightly released tracks preferred, but not required
• Must be your original music, no cover songs, and you must certify that all members of the parties that own the writing and publication rights to the songs has signed in agreement. 

We’ll follow up if your track is selected.

We hope to do this again next year, so do not be disappointed if you are not selected the first time. 

We are looking for finished music, 4:00 minutes or less, professionally recorded (can be professionally done at home!), of music you have written, no cover songs, or AI crap. 

The purpose of this is to gain regional and hopefully national attention to the incredible music scene Kitsap county has in 2026. So we are looking for artist/bands that are currently active, and playing out, as they will get the most benefit from the project. No monetary compensation is promised or provided for the use of these prerecorded tracks. It is understood that a crowdsourcing campaign will function as the funding for the project, and that bands participating in the project will promote this campaign ensuring it's success.
