It's awesome that you want to be featured on “Xa On The Go.” We will need to plan a date and time that works for you, me, and our photographer. I usually sit down with the owner or manager to learn more about the history and inspiration behind the business. Ideally, I get to taste different dishes on the menu, participate in activities, or stay in accommodations. A photographer (provided by A.T.A) usually joins me to capture the experience (environment, dishes, people, establishment). Some variety in the dishes/activities/amenities presented (for photos, tasting & experience) is necessary to really showcase what you have to offer.

Aruba.com has an average of over 100,000 viewers per week, has authority, and thus ranks high on Google search results for different markets. Furthermore, a business page on Aruba.com means your business will also be available in our myAruba app (+- 170 app downloads per week), which allows visitors to add restaurants and experiences to an itinerary and can see your business location on a map, kind of like a “favorites” list that visitors can save and use to plan out their vacation. Blogs are also featured in our newsletters and on our social media pages. Both the blog post and business page are free. All I need from you is a bit of your time, some delicious dishes to try, activities to participate in, and/or a room to stay and experience.

For the interview, overall experience, and tasting, it would be ideal to do so from Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM. If your restaurant opens in the evening, Monday and Wednesday between 6 PM and 8 PM work best for me. If these days don’t work for you, I will gladly accommodate you to the best of my ability.

If it’s not an inconvenience for you, a guest may accompany me to make the experience more complete. Different palates and extra pairs of eyes paint a more thorough picture of the entire experience and ambiance. No extras are necessary; we will all have tastings from the same plate(s). Having a guest with me is especially handy if cocktail tasting is necessary, as I am not a big alcohol drinker. We often discuss the flavors and presentation of the dishes, which is helpful in the creative process.
