Being a counselor for 4-H camp is a great way to develop leadership skills, learn more about your strengths, make new friends, learn new skills, and have a lot of fun.
Camp dates: July 1-3, 2024
Camp location: Kiwanis Camp Patterson, 5050 Patterson Road, Madison Lake, MN
- Senior Counselors (grade 9+) will have the responsibilities of supervising youth, facilitating camp activities, and creating a fun and supportive environment for youth.
- Junior Counselors (grades 7-8) will be partnered with a Senior Counselor to facilitate activities and create a fun environment all while learning the basics of camp counseling!

ALL Counselors are expected to attend the following trainings in addition to camp; Sunday, May 5, 12:30-5:30p.m. @ Blue Earth County Extension Office, Mankato
Saturday, June 8, 9a.m.-5p.m. @ Camp Patterson
Sunday, June 30, 12:30-overnight @ Camp Patterson
