Gollihar Road: Greenwood to Crosstown Public Comment Form

The project will reconstruct Gollihar Road from Greenwood Drive to the Crosstown Expressway. The existing roadway will be demolished and rebuilt with new concrete pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA-compliant curb ramps, signage, pavement markings, RTA improvements, street light improvements, and traffic and pedestrian signal improvements. In addition to surface improvements, the Project includes storm water, water, wastewater, and gas infrastructure improvements.

Additional Notes/Details:

· The current posted speed limit of 30 MPH will remain the same.

· The eleven (11) RTA bus stops along the Project will remain.

· The storm water improvements include replacing all existing curb inlets, replacing deficient RCP lines, replacing CMP lines with RCP, replacing deficient junction boxes, and adjusting manhole lids.

· Proposed water improvements include the abandonment of the 6” waterline, removal of the existing 12” ACP line, and replacement with 12” PVC.

· Wastewater improvements include wastewater pipe bursting, removal of an existing wastewater manhole, rehab of eight (8) existing wastewater manholes with fiberglass liners, installation of a new 12” SDR 26 PVC wastewater line, and installation of a steel-cased wastewater line through a storm junction box.

· Proposed gas improvements include the new 8” gas line and conflict resolution, as required.
