1. Your Creative Work
Your work will become part of a joint YOUnity work and public exhibition, alongside other works created across Western Australia.By taking part, you allow North Midlands Project to retain your work as a preservation of LGBTIQA+ perspective and voice across regional Western Australia and to share all or part of the work for non-commercial purposes, such as community exhibitions, during Perth PrideFest, marketing, on social media, celebrations of the project, and with partners (below).
2. Sharing with Partners
Your work will be shared with West Australian Opera to contribute to the creation of new song/s inspired by YOUnity studios. You will retain copyright of your material. West Australian Opera will retain ownership of the produced songs for one year after 2026 Pridefest in Perth, and during this time will make the songs publicly available royalty-free, including online. Your work and the insights it portrays will be shared with Youth Pride Network to support advocacy and improve services for future regional LGBTIQA+ youth.If you consent, a copy of your work will be contributed to local, state and/or national archives or history/museum collections, such as WestPride Archives.
3. Staying Anonymous
You can choose to attribute your name to your work or to stay anonymous.
4. Publicity (optional)
You may be invited to interviews or promotions (radio, online, print). This is optional and can be done by phone, email, or online. You can also opt out at any time.
5. If You Are Under 16
A parent or guardian is also required to sign this form if you are under 16.
