Join Juneau Extension Agent Sarah Lewis for one or all of these informative food preservation and home skills classes at the Whale Pass Library on July 6, 2024Thanks to the Tribes Extension Program and SEARHC, these classes are free for all participants! Woohoo!

10:00-11:30am - Putting up POW Grub: Dial Gauge Testing & Food Preservation Info
11:30am-1:00pm - Food Preservation Basics
1:00-2:30pm - Fermenting Vegetables 
2:30-4:00pm - Smoking & Preserving Smoked Salmon 
4:00-5:30pm - The Naturally Clean Home: Make Your Own Home Cleaners 

Please select the events you plan to attend, below. Registration is not required, but will let me update you about your classes and buy enough ingredients. All ingredients and equipment will be supplied at class.

All classes will be taught by Sarah Lewis, Professor of Extension for the Southeast Districts of the UAF Cooperative Extension Service. Home-based in Juneau, she has been teaching home skills and local food workshops throughout Southeast Alaska since 2013.
