Protect Our Monarchs – Pass SB1742 to create the Roadside Monarch Habitat Fund in Illinois

The Monarch is the state insect of Illinois, yet its future is in jeopardy as the number of monarchs declines alarmingly. SB1742 will create the Roadside Monarch Habitat Fund, which will be funded through a portion of the proceeds from the sale of special Monarch license plates. The funds generated will provide grants to fund roadside Monarch habitats and other pollinator habitat development and restoration projects.
