We're so excited that you are interested! Your time commitment can be 2 hours a month, once a month, or even every other month or more if you like! We have ways to serve that can fit anyone's schedule, age, and gifts. Please answer the following questions below to register to be a volunteer.

All of the following are our available volunteer positions.
You will recieve training for all positions. 
Walmart Pickup
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 1-3 pm. Must be able to lift 50lbs or more. Best to have a partner (Should take less than an hour).

Hy-Vee Pickup
Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings 8-9 am. 30-45 minutes.

Kwik Start Pickup *
Monday and Thursday 9-10am, 30-45 minutes.
The Market Pickup  *
Monday and Wednesday, after 5pm. 30-45 minutes.
Weekend Set up
Stocking non-perishables and other items in preparation for Tuesday, perfect for families, youth groups, or small groups, as many activities can be done on a flexible schedule from Friday to Monday each week. Takes about an hour.

Monday Set-up
Done anytime on Monday, putting out vegetables, bread, and moving items around for Tuesday morning. Takes less than an hour.

Food Share Mobile Pantry  *
Runs every third Wednesday of each month. We pack for this monthly on the Saturday prior to pantry delivery. Volunteers come as they are able to help pack. This takes 2-3 hours each time.
Tuesday/Thursday General Volunteer
Helping at the shelf with clients' sacking food, registration, or some other tasks on Tuesday mornings, 7:45-9:30 am, or evenings, 6-8 PM and Thursday afternoon from 4-6pm. If you like people, this is the spot for you!

Another activity great for Families, Youth groups, or Small groups. Can be done anytime! Let me know what would work best for you.
