We are committed to making Geekend's wide range of opportunities and experiences accessible to attendees from all walks of life. The Geekend Scholars program fosters diversity and inclusion and awards scholarships to first-timers who would not otherwise be able to attend.
Applications should be submitted on or before Friday, March 22 for consideration for the 2019 Geekend Scholars program
• Ethnic minorities: Black/African American; Hispanic/Latinx, Native American/American Indian, Pacific Islander• Women• Members of the LGBTQ community• Military veterans• Individuals age 55 and older• Individuals age 18 and under• Individuals with physical or mental disabilities• Individuals from low-income households
If selected, you will receive:• A full scholarship to attend both days of Geekend on Friday & Saturday, April 26 & 27• An invitation to Geekend's VIP reception on Thursday, April 25• Priority access to workshops, round tables and other activities with limited capacity• A special conference badge identifying you as a Geekend Scholar
Geekend Scholars who require assistance from a carer will receive an additional ticket to the conference.
