Technology Policy
The technology and Internet access owned by FPC-Holt are to be used for the specific purpose of Christian education, as directed by teachers, clergy, and other staff members. Unauthorized uses described below will result in disciplinary action, ranging from loss of technology privileges to contact with law enforcement. Unauthorized uses include, but are not limited to:

A. Accessing sites unrelated to church-related programs (e.g., such as social media, personal email, and gaming sites), unless receiving express permission from church leadership.
B. Using software or hardware which has not been assigned or approved by church leadership.
C. Vandalizing or malicious damage to hardware, software, and data (including alteration of all system administrator configurations and all manner of creating, uploading, or intentionally introducing viruses and malware).
D. Gaining unauthorized access (“hacking”) into unauthorized sites or entities or invading the privacy of individuals.
E. Accessing, uploading, downloading, or distributing pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit material; transmitting obscene, abusive, sexually explicit, or threatening language; violating any local, state, or federal laws; or harassing, insulting, or attacking others. If a student accidentally accesses an inappropriate site, the student must immediately notify a supervising adult.
