Pose Fair 10th Anniversary
Since the spring of 2010, Pose Fair has been the premier pose event in Second Life, bringing together new stores and old, posers and animators, photographers, models, bloggers, and many other residents of Second Life to get excited about the single most important thing necessary to complete an avatar's look... movement!

This coming March, we are delighted to be celebrating TEN YEARS of Pose Fair with a very special anniversary event. We are inviting ALL pose makers, prop makers, animators, photo gadget makers, and professional photographers to participate. We're breaking some rules and making this our most exciting and inclusive event yet.

We have a lot of exciting things planned including a HUGE social media and group giveaway, a photo contest, live entertainment, and more!

All we need is you! We hope that everyone who has ever participated in Pose Fair will make some room in their calendars for this event and bring their very best work to celebrate.

Please read the details of the event below and fill out the application to be considered for participation!

We do not impose hard prim limits, but we've indicated some general guidelines of how many might would be a good target. These limits are higher than most would be able to even use. It's best to read the descriptions and choose based on our recommendations than judging by prim limits.

Exact booth sizes have not been determined so we have not stated them here, but have given guidelines on which booth may be appropriate.

• Photographer's Booth - 25 prims - Small Space for Photo Demos and Booking Info. Only for photographers.

• X-Small - 50 prims - Ideal for those with only 4 vendors and very minimal booth decorations. Recommended for brand new stores with no established customer base.

• Small - 75 prims - Ideal for those with up to 8 vendors, possible room for small prop demo (stool or small chair) and minimal decorations. Recommended for newer stores who have a small store inventory and usually break even at events.

• Medium - 125 prims - Ideal for most vendors. Will accommodate 12-16 vendors, room for small-medium props, and room for decorations. Recommended for the average pose store who typically makes a small profit at events. This will be approximately the same size as the standard booth in most Pose Fair events.

• Large - 200 prims - Ideal for those who have many new releases or wish to highlight many previous releases. Room for multiple small-medium props or one backdrop. Ample room for decorations or elaborate interior build. Large booths will be as close to the landing point as possible, but this does not guarantee immediate adjacency. Recommended for established stores with a decent following and who steadily profit at events.

• X-Large - 300 prims - Ideal for those who have multiple medium-large props or wish to display many vendors. Ample room for decorations or elaborate interior build. X-Large booths will be as close to the landing point as possible, but this does not guarantee immediate adjacency. Recommended for established stores with a strong following who significantly profit at events and would like a lot of space but are not interested in sponsorship. Also recommended as the backup option for those who are interested in sponsorship.

Photographer's Booth: L$500
X-Small - L$1000
Small - L$2000
Medium - L$4000
Large - L$8000
X-Large - L$12000
Sponsor - L$18000

Sponsorship includes the largest booth with enough space for multiple props or backdrops, no hard prim limit within reason. This is a direct landing point booth. Store will receive priority placement on our website gallery, acknowledgment on our primary advertising poster and other marketing materials, and a mention in our land listing as a sponsor.

We will also be accepting one full event sponsor for this event in addition to regular sponsors. The event sponsor will receive the sponsor booth of their choice, priority placement on the website gallery (above other sponsors), will have their store name on the name of the parcel (Pose Fair - Present by *Store Name*), will receive multiple social media posts for their new release ads, guaranteed blogger coverage of at least 10 posts by our bloggers, and will be given more prominent placement and mention on any marketing materials. If you are interested in this sponsorship, please contact RubyStarlight Writer directly.

Stores who have previously participated in Pose Fair and are in good standing will be automatically accepted. You will receive information on where to make payment within one week of your application if you wish to do so.

If you are new to Pose Fair and you are accepted you will be contacted no later than January 8th, but we may contact you much sooner. All applications put in after January 7th will be for the waiting list only.

Pose Fair is YOUR time to SHIIIIINE! We believe the primary reason for Pose Fair's 10 year success is because we do hold our participants to very specific quality standards. So, as always, we ask that you bring your A-Game to Pose Fair... for your own benefit and the benefit of the event.

**For this special event, we will be requiring a gift from every participating store for our Pose Fair Lovers group members. The gift can be anything you want, old or new, but should be something that will delight our devoted members**

♥ FOUR new, exclusive items are required.
There is no theme to this event, feel free to exercise your creativity.

*A new item is defined as:

♥ Singles: 5 singles sold in one pack or separately (mirrors do not count separately)
♥ Couples: 1 couples pose or group pose (Pose must be interactive and touching each other, not just 2 avatars standing or sitting near each other.)
♥ Props (a chair, umbrella, flower, phone, etc): Must include 4 unique poses or a couples pose. Prop must interact with the poses.
♥ Backdrops: Backdrops must include at least 5 single poses or one couples pose. Elaborate backdrops/scenes may count as items on their own if they are elaborate enough. You MUST contact management for approval.
♥ Recolors/Retextures of a prop do not count as a new item, no matter how varied the textures are.
♥ 1 dance animation = 1 item
♥ 1 AO may count for 2 items, please contact management for approval.
♥ Gachas are permitted but must meet the following criteria:
*You MUST use a gacha script that is current and updated, provides support, and tracks every pull in detail. We recommend the MD Labs gacha script as it provides detailed and comprehensive tracking, but if you use another script that meets these requirements, you may use it.
*One gacha may meet the minimum requirements as long as it fulfills the criteria of 2 full, new items.
♥ You can mix and match any of these to meet your requirements. If you have a pack of 3 singles plus a prop with 7 singles, that works just fine. Or a pack of 4 singles and a prop with 3 singles, plus a couples pose.. that's fine. If you have 5 unique props (not retextures) with 2 single poses in each, that's fine. Just make sure the sum of all your parts equals the specifications listed above. If you are not certain if your item qualifies, please contact management for assistance.
♥ Bento face animations won't count as an exclusive item, but you may sell them at Pose Fair.
♥ Stores that exclusively sell photography equipment, gadgets, etc will not be held to these same requirements. You may sell your current posing/lighting/etc system and/or any add-ons for the system. New items are encouraged, but not required. However, if you are also a pose store and plan on selling original poses or animations at the event, you will be held to the pose store requirements.
♥ Photographers have no requirements. They may use their booth as they choose to promote their services.

♥ You must put the Pose Fair subscription board in your main store. If you don't already have one, one will be sent out in the group.

♥ You MAY put out previously released items as long as you have your minimum 4 exclusives and you have reasonable space left in your booth. However, we do encourage you to fill your booth with as many new items as you can for maximum sales success.

♥It is difficult to imagine all scenarios and all products that may be sold. Management will use their discretion to determine if an item qualifies as an exclusive. If you are in doubt about the item you want to make, please contact RubyStarlight Writer.

ALL participants (including gadget sellers and photographers) must adhere to the following rules:

- You are responsible for knowing the rules, dates, guidelines, expectations, etc. Failure to read the rules, updates, notices, etc is not an excuse for any violation.
- Rules are not limited to the rules outlined here. We cannot predict every unique situation that arises and will amend the rules and make on the spot judgment calls as necessary in the best interest of the event. Management decisions are final.
- If Pose Fair staff is contacted by your customers to intervene in a customer service issue, we will contact you to aid in a resolution for the customer. We expect that you will respond to us and work with us to defuse any difficult situation.
- All poses and animations must be 100% original. No purchased full perms animations or poses may be sold individually or used in your props.
- All props must either be original mesh (or prims) or using licensed template work with permissions. No items from TurboSquid or other similar websites that have explicitly banned use in Second Life will be permitted.
- Any items that violate the copyrights or trademarks of other brands (RL or SL) will be removed. You will still be expected to meet your minimum requirements if we have to reject a new item that violates any policy.
- Anyone found to be using copybotted items will be completely removed from the event and will not be welcomed back to any future events.
- If you purchase template items from the Marketplace or any outside website, you are responsible for ensuring that items you are using are legal. If you mistakenly purchase copybotted or other illegal template items, you will still be held accountable.
- Pose Fair is a group effort. We are all responsible for maintaining a public image that helps to keep Pose Fair in good social standing in Second Life. While we really don't have any concern about personal behavior, attitudes, political beliefs, drama, arguments, etc expressed on social media we do draw the line at a few things:

1. Disparaging the event. If you have an issue with the event, please take your issues to management for a peaceful resolution. When you post negative things on social media, you don't just hurt the owner and management, you hurt all of your fellow pose makers. I'm sure we can discuss things like adults. Posts of this type will result in immediate and permanent removal from the event, including a ban from the sim, groups, and social media pages.
2. Hate speech or memes that reflect hateful beliefs. Racist, homophobic, xenophobic, sexist, bullying etc. on social media will not be tolerated and will result in removal from the event without refund.
3. Publicly disparaging other brands, other events, or media partners may result in removal as well, depending on the severity of the issue

- Failure to abide by the rules may result in removal of your items from the event, removal of your store from the event, or even a permanent ban from Pose Fair depending on the severity of the violation. This includes any rule that we have to add to address a unique situation.
- No refunds will be issued for any reason, including removal from the event for rule violation.

In the application form you will be asked if you are willing to provide prizes for contest winners for marketing purposes. All marketing is done to benefit the event as a whole. Without the marketing efforts we put into Pose Fair, we would not be a successful event. We cannot force you to give away your items for free, so on the registration form you will be asked if you will be willing to send a prize (one of your items) to our contest winners when we contact you with a winner name. We will not ask for more than 2 items be sent per store, per round. Fat packs are always excluded from these contests.

In addition to the specific items, we may have a few big contest winners in the group to receive all review copies sent out. This is our photo contest prize and could possibly be a prize for a social media contest as well. By sending out your items for our bloggers, you are consenting to our contest winners to receive those items as well.
