Network is looking for people who can share their unique talents to contribute to various Network committees. Your contributions can be as frequent as your time allows. All positions are voluntary. Please check all that apply.

Technology: responsible to maintain state website and other tech communication platforms with current information.
Design Team: collaborate with NBCTs to create resources for use by the Network
Communications Committee: responsible in promoting Network activities with media
Conference committee: help plan and execute an annual conference around National Boards as well as providing NBCTs an opportunity to present best practices to pre-service, first year teachers and candidates.
Grant writing committee: responsible to research, write and apply for grants to further network activities: Advocacy Training, Conference, Pinning Ceremony
Pinning ceremony: help plan and implement an annual pinning ceremony in February to recognize new and renewed NM NNBCTs.
Social Media Committee: responsible for informing Board and others about NM NBCT Network of National Board Events through Facebook and Twitter.
Hill Day Committee: responsible for organizing and selecting newly certified or renewed NBCTs from around the state to be recognized on the house and senate floor.
Early Career Committee: Recruit 2-3 year teachers and build awareness of the Body of Knowledge of Accomplished Teaching.
Become a Professional Learning Facilitator (aka CSP): attend training to learn how to support candidates through the NBPTS certification process.
Professional Organizations Conference Proposal Writer: Research conferences around the state to submit proposals for national board presentations
Institutions of Higher Education: Presentations to Colleges of Education throughout state to embed language and practices of NBPTS Accomplished Teaching Body of Knowledge
Advocacy Training: to plan and implement an annual leadership and advocacy training in December
