2017 Hood River Hops Fest Food Vendor Application

On September 23, 2017, Hood River County Chamber of Commerce hosts a beer lover’s dream when fresh-hopped brews from more than forth Northwest craft brewers are on tap. The event showcases Hood River County’s own microbreweries as well as other great Northwest brewers. This event has something for everyone in the family, with live music ranging from classic bluegrass to soulful blues, activities for kids, and some of the best beer around.

We advertise and market the event extensively in Portland,
Seattle, Tri-Cities, Vancouver, and Bend.
We expect 2017 attendance to exceed 6,000 people
The event will be held on the city parking lot in Downtown Hood River between 5th and 7th Streets and Columbia St.and Cascade Avenues, just south of Full Sail Brewing.

Popular among Gorge residents, the Hops Fest also attracts people from all over the world.

Food Vendor (20' x 20' space) $300- additional 15' $100

20x20-foot Space for Food Vendors w/electricity (2-110v plugs) & garbage access.
(if your food cart exceeds 20' in length please indicate that in your application)
Food vendors must be self-contained (Propane, BBQ, Etc.) Electricity is very limited and only available if pre-arranged.
Note: No water access available.

Your own tent/table/chairs and ample lighting. Be prepared to set up your own equipment.
There will be someone on site to assist in location and services. We encourage you to bring signage and
information. Hood River is a windy city, so please make sure you bring weights and ties to secure your
tent. You must be completely set-up and ready to greet the public by 11:30 am. ABSOLUTELY NO LATE ENTRY

Note: Because demand may exceed available space, or conflict with our desire to achieve variety and exclusivity for any specific product/vendor focus, application does not guarantee acceptance. The Hood River County Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to include or exclude any vendor at their discretion, at any time.

Once Accepted:
• Your acceptance letter will serve as your booth fee invoice.
• You must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance that shows:
a. coverage for the dates of the festival (September 23, 2017)
b. coverage limit of $1,000,000 for Food Vendors; $300,000 for Art/Craft and Agriculture Vendors
c. Hood River County Chamber of Commerce and Hops Fest, 720 E Port Marina Drive, Hood River, OR 97031
listed as “Additional Insured” on Certificate of Liability Insurance
• Once notified of acceptance, payment and Certificate of Liability Insurance are due by Sept 8, 2017
The Hood River County Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to include or exclude any vendor at their discretion, at any time.
