2024 Fresno State Upward Bound Toy Drive

Thank you for joining Fresno State Upward Bound students and staff in our 2nd Annual Holiday Toy Drive 2024! Building on the success of last year, we’re excited to come together again to spread joy and give back to our community.


On Saturday, December 7th, we will be hosting a gathering for our Upward Bound students, where we will come together to wrap gifts donated to our Toy Drive. Through the Diaz Family Foundation, 60 wrapped gifts will be distributed to 60 children who come from low income, farmworker families in Madera County area. The Diaz Family Foundation serves kids with special needs yearly with physical therapy in Mexico (Centro Para Niños Especiales in San Luis de Paz, GTO, Mexico). An additional 30 gifts will be wrapped and donated to Angels of Grace Foster Family Agency, whose services go above and beyond meeting the physical needs of the foster children placed in their care in the Central Valley.


Combined with both organizations, we aim to help youth ages 6-18. We welcome you to join the Fresno State Upward Bound Programs in spreading joy. Toys and electronic gift cards are gladly accepted. Our goal is to spread joy throughout our community and also teach our Upward Bound Family the importance of community service and helping others in need.


 About Upward Bound and volunteers: Fresno State Upward Bound is a federally-funded program that serves low-income, first-generation college bound high school students who have the potential to succeed in college. On December 7th, Fresno State Upward Bounders will join our staff to offer community service by wrapping gifts we collect through our toy drive to distribute to the Diaz Family Foundation and Angels of Grace Foster Family Agency.
