Midwest Climate Summit Student Moderator/Note Taker Form
Hi there! We appreciate your interest in wanting to attend the summit and help take notes or moderate sessions! If you are interested in being a room moderator, you would help engage with the speaker and the audience and help facilitate the conversation when needed. If the speaker is on zoom, you would help with any technical difficulties and help get it set up. Room moderators must be in person. If you are interested in being a note-taker, you will take notes on keep points and takeaways so that people who are not able to attend that session can still get relevant information. Additionally, you will record the presenters contact information so that it can be included in the debrief and given to those who want to follow up. Note-takers may be in person or on zoom. As a part of the note takers responsibility, we are hosting a debrief in the afternoon on Thursday, February 23. We would love the note takers to compile their notes and either write up a short summary, or be willing to speak about the session. Hopefully, it would not be too much work, we would just love to hear from students what they thought of the sessions and be able to share this out!
