Welcome to the NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative Committee Sign-Ups!

Thank you for your interest in contributing to the NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative (AWC). Your involvement is crucial in advancing our mission to improve the welfare of animals in our community. Please take a moment to review the different committees available and sign up for those that resonate with you.

1. Steering Committee:
–Designs Collaborative structure (Governance)
–Develops standards for the Collaborative
–Defines the scope of the overall work plan and budget

–Developed Code of Ethics

2. Animal Advocacy Committee:
–Participates in advocacy events and professional development sessions
–Plans educational events for the Collaborative and group trips to conferences
–Informs legislators about animal welfare issues and priorities

3. Feral Cat Committee:
–Aids in developing our new feral cat program
–Assists with operations during Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) events
–Helps educate the public on trapping cats

4. Resource Mapping/Website Committee:
–Helps develop a list of resources
–Aids in mapping out the structure of our new website
–Connects those in need to resources
