Center for Second Language Studies Film Request Form
It is time to order films for use with Virtual Cinema! April and November are the two months designated for ordering films.
Deadline for ordering films for use for the fall semester: April 15
Deadline for ordering films for use for the spring semester: November 15

Films can be used through Virtual Cinema according to strict guidelines devised by Vanderbilt University's Office of the General Counsel. These guidelines allow us to provide a service that operates within the confines of U.S. copyright laws:
1) CSLS must own a physical copy of the film. We cannot place films in Virtual Cinema that are personal possessions or library property.
2) CSLS must ask for permission from the distributors and, if necessary, pay the required fees.
3) Each instructor may request purchase of a maximum of five films per semester.
4) The staff must have at least 5 business days lead time to place films in Virtual Cinema.

You will receive an email confirming that your order has been received. Please look for it in your spam email, if it does not show up in your inbox. Once you receive that email, you do not need to act any further. We will contact you if additional information is needed.
