Travel Unity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on making travel welcoming to everyone. 

Volunteering with Travel Unity is a way to build skills, gain experience, and be part of a global community. We invite people of all backgrounds and identities to support us in this work.

Travel Unity Volunteers have opportunities to:

*Create content, complete research, and perform assessments that support Travel Unity’s mission

*Support Travel Unity's programming and operations

*Connect with others who share an interest in travel and social impact

What TU Volunteers Actually Do

Travel Unity volunteers do active outreach. Most projects involve identifying professionals in the travel industry, contacting them, scheduling a short interview, and writing up a short Spotlight or Case Study based on that conversation.

Volunteers should be comfortable introducing themselves, sending emails or messages to professionals, and following up to complete their project.

All new volunteers are committing to either doing a case study on inclusion in travel or a spotlight on someone in the travel industry. If you need, we can help connect you with an individual or organization to profile.

After submitting this application, your next step is to choose and register for a volunteer project. Volunteering begins once that step is complete.
