A percentage of proceeds will go to initiatives and programs we've launched to support women and non-binary beer industry professionals as well as to organizations who are working to create a better beer and hospitality world for all.

About this Fundraiser:
In May 2021, Brewer and Beer Industry Advocate Brienne Allan (Owner & Head Brewer of Sacred Profane Brewing), who goes by @RatMagnet on Instagram initiated a #MeToo movement in craft beer when she shared a story of her experience with sexism in the industry and asked her Instagram followers if they shared a similar experience. Women started sharing their own stories about sexual harassment and gender discrimination within the industry causing a whole lot of noise within the beer world. Thousands of stories have since been shared about industry staff's experiences with sexism, sexual harassment, assault, racism and discrimination in the workplace. This fundraiser was soon launched to help provide resources and support for industry staff as well as raise funds for initiatives, programs and nonprofits wo are doing the real work to make this industry safe and inclusive. Launched in July 2021, the Brave Noise initiative and global beer collab with a big goal: to create a safe and discrimination-free beer industry. Brave Noise is advocating for safe spaces and inclusive environments by requesting breweries be transparent with their policies and commit to long-term work. About Brienne Allan


Brienne Allan, Owner and Head Brewer of Sacred Profane Brewing in Biddeford, ME, has been brewing professionally for over a decade. In late May 2021, Allan after sharing her own story about sexism in the industry, she asked her Instagram (@RatMagnet) followers if they had ever experienced sexism in the beer industry. She received hundreds of stories from women who have faced gender discrimination, sexual harassment, harassment and racism. Since then, thousands of stories have been shared online, which has created a #MeToo movement in the beer industry. With the Brave Noise collaborative brew initiative, she hopes breweries will join her in advocating for change and develop resources to best support beer industry professionals and customers.



About Women of the Bevolution


Women of the Bevolution is a platform dedicated to supporting women and non-binary individuals in the beverage industry, with an emphasis in brewing, and providing them with resources and opportunities to best support them along their career journey in alcohol/hospitality.
