2013 Northland International Festival - Food Vendor Application

Dear Artists, Crafts-persons and commercial vendors.

The Northland International Festival (NIF) is a one day festival celebrating the music, art and culture of the communities living in the Northland neighbourhood of Columbus Ohio and is free to the public. The festival will be held at the Northland Performing Arts Center, both indoors and outdoors.

Please read this application carefully, fill out the application and print a copy for yourself before pressing submit. Send all requested materials (give us color photos of art or merchandise) to NCIF2012@NorthlandFest.com .

    Fees

    Food Vendors can be food carts or booths. Food carts must fit inside a booth space. Fees are $75 for the booth space and a $50 cleanup fee. The cleanup fee will be refunded if you leave your space clean. All booth spaces are 10' X 20'. If accepted for the festival you will be contacted for payment.

    About Your Booth

    The Columbus Fire Department requires that all tents, canopies and tarps be fire resistant and labeled as such (you need to show a label on the tent or provide a copy of the certificate). The Fire Inspector will make you remove any material that does not meet Columbus Fire Code. See the NICF website for more details.

    THE RULES - READ THIS!!

    Food vendors require a temporary food handler's permit and an inspection by the Columbus Health Department unless you are a street licensed vending cart with a legal mobile license. A propane or fire permit from The City Of Columbus Division Of Fire is required if you will be using gas appliances or a charcoal grill. You will be inspected by The City Of Columbus, Division Of Fire, and you must have a type K fire extinguisher and obey all Fire Regulations. See www.NorthlandFest.com for FAQs or send us an email.
