Thank you for your interest in visiting the Brooklyn Museum with your class this year. Please fill out this form to the best of your ability, and know that there is an 'additional information' section at the end of the form you can use to tell us anything else we should know. A few things to take into account:
Please know that we have a significantly decreased teaching staff this year, and our capacity for guided visits will be much more limited. We often will not be able to accommodate more than one class at a time.
We cannot accommodate more that 2 classes (up to 60 students) from any one school at the museum per day, IF availability allows. If you are trying to book for more than 2 classes, please know that if we can accommodate it will need to be across multiple days.
We generally book self-guided visits a month in advance, and guided visits 2-4 months in advance.
Morning time slots fill up quickly, and there is often more availability in the later 11:45 AM time slot for guided visits, and after 12:30 PM for self-guided visits.
- While fees are waived for Brooklyn Public Schools (and Title I public schools city-wide) to see the general collection and non-ticketed exhibitions, fee waivers may not apply to ticketed exhibitions like Monet and Venice.
- Please know that guided visits are NOT available for Monet and Venice.
- Please know that there are more days this year when DOE bus service may not be available for field trips, you can find those days here.
If you have questions, please email youth.tours@brooklynmuseum.org. Please know that all requests will be queued until September, at which time they will be responded to in order of submission and urgency.
