First aid training
We are currently investigating the possibilities for organizing a first aid training. There are various options regarding
- the material covered;
- the time investment (online and classical);
- costs;
- whether or not an acknowledged certificate is issued.

Via this questionnaire, we would like to get an idea of what sort of course is desired by Van der Waals members.

Thanks in advance for your opinion!
Types of trainings
There are various options for a First aid training. The tree main options are:
- Basic Life Support (BLS): includes unconsciousness, reanimation and working with an AED;
- Fast first aid: includes: unconsciousness, choking, (active) bleeding, burns, bone-, muscle- and joint injuries and poisoning;
- Complete first aid: BLS, all topics of Fast first aid, and: nose bleeding, neck and spinal injuries, chest pain and strokes.

For BLS and complete first aid, it is possible to get certificated. Both certificates are acknowledged internationally.
