"Let Data Do the Driving" Data-Driven School Improvement Registration 1/23/20
Training will address how data drives the school improvement process. Participants will review the four types of data utilized in the school improvement process and potential sources of these data types. The use of data as leading and trailing indicators will also be studied as well as the components of and strategies for data analysis and root cause determination.

Participants are encouraged to bring student achievement problems identified by prior data study at their schools. These achievement problems will be examined during the root cause determination part of the presentation as time allows.

The training will allow participants to:
Identify data types and sources
Understand how data analysis is used to identify achievement gaps and root causes
Understand how data drives the continuous school improvement cycle
Identify the stages of data literacy for schools
