Our Mission
The NABJ Political Task Force was formed in 2010 to provide support and programming for journalists who cover local, state, and national politics, and encourage media outlets to assign more black reporters to this important beat.
There is a pressing need to revitalize the task force and reach a larger number of NABJ members who currently cover politics at all levels or who are interested in pursuing careers in this specialty.
