Parents and caregivers, please use this form if you would like to request bussing to Jefferson.
* Students who attend Jefferson as a result of a transfer option may NOT request transportation.
*State law requires that school districts offer bussing to elementary students living farther than 1.5 miles away from the building. ALL OF JEFFERSON'S HOUSEHOLDS ARE WITHIN 1.5 MILES.
Bussing is provided to Jefferson students for the following reasons:
- Students who need bussing as an accommodation for a disability (requires an IEP decision.)
- Students who live south of 4th Street are offered bussing because there is no safe-crossing of 4th street.
- Students who live outside of Jefferson's boundaries, and live greater than 1.5 miles away, and were assigned to attend Jefferson as an administrative placement through the district office.
Because there are seats remaining on the bus serving the students described above, we are opening the remaining seats to other students at Jefferson.
Completing this form does not guarantee service. Applications will be evaluated based on greatest need, taking into account the age of the student, distance from Jefferson, and other concerns.

Bus capacity will be capped at 55 total riders to ensure the ability to serve eligible families who move into our busing area, and homeless students living outside boundaries.
Students who exhibit inappropriate behaviors while riding the bus may have their seat revoked by administration.
