Thank you for your interest in participating in our soil health-soybean study! Please fill out this form and I will send you the soil sampling kit: sampling instructions, soil sample bags, 1-page surveys, and prepaid shipping box. Soil samples can be collected from any 2025 soybean field in Wisconsin (no history of cover crops is required). Up to 4 soil samples can be collected per farmer (e.g. if you consult and want to collect soil samples for two of your clients, you can take up to 4 soil samples for each client). Please take the soil samples at any point between March 1 and June 1. Analysis performed on soil samples: routine analysis (pH, OM, P, K, etc.), total organic carbon (TOC), mineralizable carbon (min C), autoclave citrate extractable nitrogen (ACE-N), soil texture (% sand, silt, & clay), and aggregate stability. You will receive your sample results, and your data will be kept confidential.
