Survey on Digital Enhancements for Medical Publications Professionals

The objective of this study is to gauge the overall interest in accompanying digital enhancements for peer-reviewed publications among medical communications professionals and their clients. The data collected from this survey will be presented as a poster at AMWA 2020 Medical Writing & Communication Conference, to be held in October this year.

For purposes of this survey, please consider as DIGITAL ENHANCEMENT any digital feature that is developed to accompany manuscripts submitted to scientific journals. Examples of digital enhancements include:
- video/audio/animated abstracts
- video/audio interview with the authors
- infographics and illustrations
- audio slides

In this survey, INDUSTRY client refers to pharmaceutical/biotechnology/medical devices companies, contract research organizations, or medical communications agencies, and NON-INDUSTRY client refers to academia, medical societies, or individual authors.

This survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. Please be assured that your answers to this survey will remain confidential and anonymous.The survey is open until October 15.
