Proof of Insurance: For most uses by organizations and businesses (especially races), we will require a certificate of general liability and property damage insurance that shows a minimum $1,000,000 per occurrence and lists Slate Valley Trails as an additional insured on your policy. Can you meet these terms? If not, please explain. *

SVT reserves the right at any time to cancel any event on our trail system.

Most SVT trailheads have very limited parking, especially on weekends. There can be no roadside parking. Marking and organizing parking in the agreed upon locations is the organizer's responsibility.

Most trailheads have extremely limited restrooms. Please plan on coordinating and reserving porta-potties in advance of your event with a local company.

In general, motorized vehicles are prohibited from travel in any area designated as a trail on our trail map; this includes access roads/trails like Maple Sugar.

Closing any trail or section of the trail to the public requires special permission. If granted, signage will be required and is your responsibility.

Leave No Trace: Please remove all signs, garbage, equipment, etc. after the close of your event on both the trails and at the trailhead
