    Simple Diaper Service- Terms and Conditions

    Please review the following carefully. We reserve the right to terminate service for any customer who violates the Terms and Conditions listed here.

    How Service Works

    Customers with accounts in good standing will receive one week’s supply of cloth diapers, delivered in a cloth pail liner. Fresh, sanitized cloth diapers will be delivered each week to replace the number of soiled diapers used during the previous week. As your child grows and is ready for a larger diaper, all current diapers must be returned in order to receive a full supply of the next size. Upon sign-up, you will receive the appropriate number of diapers for your child’s age, weight and wetting patterns: Organic Cotton Newborn size diapers: up to 80 diapers (up to 160 in rotation) Small size diapers: up to 70 diapers (up to 120 in rotation) Medium size diapers: up to 60 diapers (up to 120 in rotation) Toddler size diapers: up to 50 diapers (up to 100 in rotation). All-in-Ones Newborn size diapers: up to 80 diapers (up to 160 in rotation) One size, adjustable diapers: up to 70 (up to 140 in rotation) One size, adjustable diapers, plus extra absorbency: up to 50 (up to 100 in rotation) The customer is responsible for counting the clean diapers in the home (including diaper bag, etc) on delivery day each week, before putting out the bag of dirty diapers. The customer writes the number of clean diapers on the provided tag on the bag, and Simple Diaper Service will drop off the balance number of diapers. Let’s use newborns as an example to explain diaper rotations: During your pre-birth delivery you’ll receive 80 diapers. During our first pickup/delivery after you’ve given birth, you will write on the provided bag tag how many diapers you have clean at home. Say you have 10 clean diapers at the time you put out your dirty bag, and you write “10” on the tag. When the Simple Diaper Service driver picks up your bag, the driver will provide the appropriate number of diapers so that you always have 80 clean in your home on delivery day. In the example case, the driver will leave 70 clean newborn diapers. So, you will then have a total of 80 clean diapers in the home. Your diaper service rotation will continue in this manner until your baby moves into the next size diaper, where the number of diapers in rotation decreases. We will adjust the diaper count down according to your usage, as over time your baby will use fewer diapers. **Rental items are billed every four (4) weeks.

No diaper cover needed. $49.99/week includes home delivery. Combo All-in-one and Organic Cotton weekly Simple Diaper Service includes half organic cotton prefold diapers and half ready to wear polyester pocket diapers. $42.99/week includes home delivery. Add on Cloth Wipe weekly service includes up to 80 cotton baby wipes per week for newborns and up to 60 per week for older babies. $4.99/week. Wash your Stash weekly Simple Diaper Service includes the laundering of customer owned cloth diapers. Limits to types of diapers and brands apply. At this time we only launder items that do not have snaps, elastic or velcro, such as inserts, flats, or prefolds. Items must be clearly labeled with the customer’s name. $1.50/pound of clean, dry diapers plus $10 delivery fee and any applicable delivery distance fee.     Credit Card on File or Cash Deposit

    Simple Diaper Service will obtain a information for a valid credit card, and maintain it on file during the time the customer is being served by Simple Diaper Service. The customer is responsible for updating credit card information as necessary. In lieu of a credit card, the customer may provide a $250 cash deposit that will be returned to the customer upon termination of service, when all Simple Diaper Service owned diapers and products have been returned, and all invoices paid.

    Account Status and Payment Terms

    After the initial 4 weeks, customers will be billed in 4-week increments. Payment is due by the due date on each invoice, which one week prior to the start of the next 4 week cycle. If payment is not received in full, service will terminate until the account is in good standing. By paying your monthly bill, you are agreeing to contract service for another 4 weeks. If payment is made after the delivery day of a particular week, delivery will not occur until the following week. Service will be suspended until the account is in good standing and all fees have been paid. Sales tax applies to all accessories purchased. Payments are accepted in the form of check, credit card through PayPal, cash or money order. There is a $30.00 fee for all returned checks. If your service is prepaid, your services will not be interrupted and you will be notified two (2) weeks prior to the end of your prepayment period in order to continue service. Remember, your billing due date will always be one (1) week prior to what would be the end of a cycle.

    Customer’s Responsibility / Proper Diaper Use

    It is the responsibility of the customer to arrange for the start of diaper service within three (3) weeks of baby’s birth. Any further delay will result in a $10.00 per week holding fee being deducted from any pre-paid funds added to your account during startup. Simple Diaper Service’s rental diapers are to be used on babies only. Diapers found being used as cleaning rags or for other non-baby related uses will need to be removed from service due to the inability to remove chemicals or stains. If a diaper needs to be removed from service due to negligence, you will be charged a replacement fee. Please do not put trash or disposable wipes in the diaper pail. We only count your diapers each week, we are not your trash can. If disposable wipes are found in the wet bag you will receive a reminder note the following week. If it continues you will be charged $2.00 per week that disposable wipes are found in your bag. Certain medications or diaper creams can cause untreatable stains that ruin rented diapers. Please notify us if your child’s doctor has prescribed any medications or diaper rash creams. Also, please check our website for recommended diaper creams that are better for both your child and the diapers. Do not store soiled diapers in the heat (example: outside or in a garage during the summer) or in direct sunlight. This will cause unpleasant things to grow and may damage the diapers. There is no need to rinse soiled diapers. In fact, this can cause mold or mildew. Please shake off soiled diapers once you’ve begun introducing solid foods, this will help mitigate lingering odors and help to prevent some staining from occurring on the diaper and is much appreciated. Please do not store diapers in plastic. This also causes mold and mildew to grow. You are responsible for the diapers and pail liner that you rent from Simple Diaper Service. If any items are lost, stolen or misplaced you will be billed for it. Replacement fees will be billed at $12/pocket diaper cover, $2-4 organic cotton prefold and $15/pail liner. After every effort has been made to recover all rented equipment, the credit card provided at the beginning of service will be charged for the full amount of any unreturned and/or damaged items. Agreement to Use Slightly Stained Diapers: By agreeing to use the slightly stained diapers customers must understand that diapers get stains from common diapering use and there is nothing wrong or bad with the diaper. You will never get a full week’s worth of slightly stained diapers. We try to be as environmentally friendly as we can and this means we use our diapers until the very end of their diapering life.

    Deliveries, Vacations and Lost and Found

    Delivery: Simple Diaper Service makes every effort to conserve resources while also meeting customers’ needs. Therefore, delivery days and times are subject to delivery routes; however you will be notified if your delivery day or time frame changes at least 1 week prior. On your delivery day, please place your pail liner full of soiled diapers in an easily accessible place out of direct sunlight – in a shaded area. Gas Surcharge: Should average regular unleaded gas prices in San Diego rise above $4.50 per gallon, a gas surcharge of $0.50 per week will be added to each customer’s bill. The gas surcharge will also be billed in four (4) week increments for a total of $2.00. Missed Deliveries: We understand that being a parent is busy work and things get forgotten. However, deliveries only occur in your County one (1) day a week. It is imperative that you have your diapers out for pick-up at the specified time on your designated delivery day. We do offer an email/text reminder for all customers to make sure deliveries aren’t missed. Please tell us when you set up service if you would like additional numbers sent the reminder. We forgive the 1st missed delivery as an “Oops! I’ve got a new baby at home;” however, every subsequent missed delivery will result in a $15 charge. Vacation: If you are leaving on vacation, please contact us at least one (1) week in advance to discuss available options. At the time of notice, we will make arrangements to pick up all dirty diapers before you leave so they do not sit while you are gone. If you wish to suspend service while you are gone, two (2) weeks’ notice is required to receive a credit for vacation weeks. If you wish to take our diapers with you on vacation, you must have written clearance for Simple Diaper Service at least 5 business days prior to your trip. In order for weeks to be credited to your account, no dirty diapers shall need to be picked up or delivered. If you will be out of town for more than four (4) weeks, we require all diapers and pail liners to be returned to Simple Diaper Service, which will be held until you return. Lost and Found: Please keep all personal items out of the pail liners. Simple Diaper Service is not responsible for any lost items left in the soiled diaper bag. Please call us to report any missing items. If lost items are found, we will gladly return them on your next scheduled delivery date.

    Termination of Service and Refunds

    Simple Diaper Service has a firm NO REFUNDS policy on diaper service payments and pre-payments. Customers are only committed by the amount of service that is paid for; no long- term commitment is required. Customers may cancel at any time after the initial 4 week contract or anytime thereafter. At least a five (5) day written cancelation notice is requested for termination of services. No refunds will be provided on services already rendered nor on pre-paid services. Upon termination of service, customers have one (1) week to arrange the return of all rented diapers and startup equipment before the credit card on file is charged in full for the replacement of all missing items. Simple Diaper Service reserves the right to terminate this service agreement at any time for any reason after providing a five (5) day written cancellation notice to the customer.

    Customer Satisfaction and Limitations

    Simple Diaper Service strives to meet the satisfaction of all customers. We welcome all comments and questions, and will attempt to remedy any situations brought to our attention. Simple Diaper Service reserves the right to determine refunds not explained in this agreement on a case by case basis. All diapers are cleaned using a professional eco-friendly process that sanitizes to ensure ultimate cleanliness and the best possible product for your child. Simple Diaper Service welcomes and encourages any inquires about our washing process, including the products used. We also encourage open communication about your child’s allergies. However, Simple Diaper Service cannot be held liable for any adverse reactions that may occur as a result of using our service or products sold.
